Can I recalibrate a meter myself, or do I have to send it to Distell?

Answer

The Fatmeter kit is supplied with a Calibration Check Pad.  The Check pad has TWO Pads, one representing  a low value (normally labelled around 7-8%), and the other a higher value (normally labelled around 20 -25%). Each day before commencing measurement routines, Fatmeter should be checked on the Check Pad, to ensure that values agree with the  values on the Check Pad.  This simply lets the customer know that the Fatmeter’s calibration settings have not changed since last calibration at Distell.
